Article marketing is becoming the rage these days amongst the many other methods of SEO it has become very popular for various reasons, mainly the exposure that can be gained through search engines with additional pages being indexed for prime keywords linking to your site. Above this there is the fact that they all provide one way links to your site which is a great point, and the ability to market these articles to drive additional traffic and create a PR on the article page is an extremely valuable way of gaining links to your site from PR ranked pages.
The way in which you syndicate your article content will depend greatly on how you rank within the search engines, and if you rank at all. Many people use articles for various reasons, and if your main purpose is solely for creating inbound links to a site then mass article submitter software will work well for you. However, if you are looking to gain exposure through search engine indexing then a slightly more delicate and cautious approach is needed.
In the last post we decided to avoid the argument over the relevance of PR rankings, and in this post we will defer from the duplicate content debate, but will say that you can take the same article you wish to use for the article marketing purposes and submit it to a handful of sites, I would say no more than 5 manual submissions, but it is imperative that each title has a separate title and that your anchor text comes from a different section of the Article for each submission.
Providing the above is adhered to then Google, and the other search engines will recognize your article marketing listing, and then it is down to you and your SEO writing to get the rank that you want, a pointer here is to have your keyword input somewhere between 2% and 3%, another debatable fact, but I am speaking from experience with some very high Google rankings for high competition keywords.
Remember if you are aiming for article marketing strategies to gain exposure and indexed pages you must use manually submitted articles, if you are looking to create mass one way links to your site from article marketing then consider software to do the work for you, but beware of the number of submissions you allow the software to create per day as to not be blocked from search engines.
